Hispanic Internet Users Study
Latinos represent the largest growing segment of the online population, a recent study shows that the Spanish dominant sub-group has room for growth. Garcia Research Associates' (GRA) Hispanic Omnibus Study in September 2005 showed that among Spanish-dominant Latino adults from 18 to 65 years of age, only 20% have access to the Internet and 14% have an e-mail address. The results indicate that Internet access is driven mainly by income - of those households with $30K or higher, usage is 46%, compared to 19% for $20K-$30K and 13% for less than $20K.
